Imagine spending the hot summer indoors with no air conditioners. If you can afford to use one, why feel the brunt of the heat? Given the routine stress prone hectic schedules, life without air conditioners further aggravates the stress and fatigue factor. Today’s hi-tech air conditioners are designed to give maximum cooling with low power consumption. And both window air conditioners and split air conditioners are affordable too. If you buy these products online, you can save more money given the high discounts. At an online store, besides air conditioners, you will find an extensive inventory of products in the category of television, mobile phone, laptop, digital cameras, computer peripherals, home appliances representing thousands of popular brands. And all these products are offered at wholesale prices as no overhead costs are involved.
Generally, there are three types of air conditioners, viz. central air conditioners, window air conditioners, and split air conditioners. Central air conditioners are usually used in malls, offices, and other industrial establishments while the other two find more usage in homes and small offices.
Air conditioner need maintenance almost every year. To keep your system work efficiently without breakdowns, it is advisable that you change the conditioner filter twice a year. The cooling effect heightens with good and new filters. And the frequency of the changing of the filter depends on the environment you stay; the dustier, the higher is the frequency. And if you do not change it, the efficiency will depreciate besides operating costs going up.
Window air conditioners are fitted in the window space and hence the name. Such a system has interior controls; the mechanism involves blowing of a fan over the evaporator, cooling interior air in the process. Another fan blows the heated air over a condenser. Heat is thus drawn from the room and pulled out into the open air.
The working mechanism of split air conditioner is a bit different. The process is similar to central air conditioning but with low budget. A split system has terminal packages connected with a tube. The condensing unit is contained on the interior while the evaporative unit on the exterior. Each of the connected rooms can be adjust independently with minimal interior system footprint. It works by splitting the hot side from the cold side of the system. Using split air conditioners, you can even heat up rooms during winter.
