Continuing on my previous article, here are some more Toronto web design tips:

Consistency is of prime importance in everything you do, and web design is no exception. You need to make sure that every page does not have a different layout so that the user might feel that he is on a completely new website. Yes, there should be an element of marvel when a user opens the next page, but the same should not be so off-track that the brand value is not created. In order to build an image for a website, it is important that there should be a uniform pattern spread all across. Using the same color combination, maintaining consistency in location of regular links, similar fonts styles and sizes used, etc. are some of the means to achieve consistency in Toronto web design.

There are millions of internet users scrolling through hundreds of thousands of websites, but the ones that succeed not only appeal visually, but also functionally. Ensuring that the user does not have to scroll too much on the website to find useful information is the sign of a good design. Although many designers might not think this to be their prerogative, it is in fact the next step in the evolution of design; seeing things from the user’s perspective. Many good Toronto web designers don’t think convention is good. But on the other hand, sometimes convention is needed to ensure the site does not go so of-track that the user can’t use it as per his choice. This must be avoided at all costs.

Browser compatibility is also a very vital issue that needs to be considered by the designer only. This is all the more necessary in the present times as there are numerous options for the user to browse the web, unlike maybe 4-5 years back when the Internet Explorer was the preferred medium of the same.
