Fashion designers continue to go away from bright artsy bijouterie. Fashion shows for the season 2010 have once again demonstrated that trend. This season most designers preferred to compliment models’ looks with l-2 jewelry pieces instead of making them look like a Christmas tree.

The tribute to classics is paid by glorification of diamonds. Jewelry designer, William Goldberg, invited by Oscar de la Renta, has made catwalks glitter even sparkler with dazzling diamonds. Fashion designers and jewelry designers unions have turned out to be another fashion trend this season. Carmen Marc Valvo’s and Ben-Amun’s collaboration resulted in exclusive bracelets and necklaces that decode impressiveness and proportions of Georgia O’Keefe’s famous floral still lives. Carolina Herrera presented collections with the contrast of Verdura massive gold bracelets and feminine silhouettes, light fabrics and fabulous cut.

Jewelry designer Chris Aire has turned out to be the centre of attention this year. Among his major achievements is Feng Shui Empress Gown red- gold strapless low-cut dress modeled by Alex Wek. The hand-made masterpiece adorned with 3 713 diamonds was estimated approximately $ 50 000 000.

Heavy and classic gold chains have literally flooded the fashion shows for the coming season. Layering remains and is presented with multilayered necklaces.
