The Acura brand was launched by Honda in 1986 in order to create a specialized brand whose appeal would lie in its wooing the niche up market buyers. The Integra was Acura’s first model. It was a sporty hatchback which emphatically made it clear that Acura was serious about delivering a car with excellent engineering and quality build. The car was a fine blend of reliability and performance. All these features made it an instant hit with the buyers, especially those who were looking out for a cheap alternative to German make cars. The Integra was able to garner a very varied clientele from those who were just looking for a good means of transportation to those who were looking for a base to modify and do up. Given the company’s involvement with Formula 1, new technologies were integrated into the Integra. The car was able to give more power while maintaining good fuel efficiency.
The Integra left a deep imprint on the market and showed that Japanese manufacturers were no less than the others in comparison with global luxury car manufacturers with respect to design, quality and comfort features inside the cabin. In spite of the Integra’s success, Acura renamed the entry model RSX, thereby discontinuing the car in the U.S.
The car is still available second hand and is a great platform for integrating new components in the car. One of the accessories you can use is the latest Integra headlights. The use the latest technology in delivering a steady beam that is strong and bright. This beam is then fashioned by a reflector that throws varying amounts of light onto the oncoming road depending on the need for lighting on the road. So you get more light where you need better visibility. The headlights also take into account the fact that high performance needs to go with high styling to win the customer's affections. Therefore the headlights are housed in a stylish housing that enhances the looks of the car.
The new Integra headlights offer a great performance at a very affordable price. There is wide range of designs you can choose from. They are also quite easy to install so you do not have to worry about any hassles that might arise.
