Having a technologically "smart" custom home is a final necessity. Systems that control everything from light ambiance to air conditioning or heating temperatures are at last becoming efficient and affordable. Smart homes can include monitored security applications, internet, cable and audio controls. Anything electronic can be controlled and given automatic settings. For example, the lights could be made to turn on to deter burglars when the family is on vacation. A custom song could begin to play as an alarm clock in the morning.
