For something so neat the Makita 6935FDWDEX impact driver can really pack a punch! With a range of between 0 & 3,200 impacts every minute and a maximum tightening torque of 1,240in/lbs you have to take this piece of kit seriously. Something with so much power should be safe so an ergonomically designed rubber grip had been added for added comfort, control and safety whilst in use.
Batteries losing their charge can often be a problem with cordless tools but not with this one! Nickel-metal-hybrid battery packs are used in place of the regular nickel-cadmium variety - giving a much extended life when fully charged, keeping you impact driver working at full speed. It also has variable speeds and the ease and speed at which they can be changed.
With this Makita model there are also two fantastic light features. Many will no doubt be sceptical, however these are actually fairly impressive in a practical way. The first is a high output LED light which has been integrated into the 6935FDWDEX impact driver. It actually illuminates the work space and because it is part of the tool there is no need to waste time getting adequate light sorted. Secondly their is a phosphorescent rubber bumper which makes it very easy to pick out your impact driver when rummaging through a dark van or work unit.
One last huge gain from this tool is that the brushes are easy to access and replace - no need to have your impact driver out of action for specialists to do this job for you!
The MForce Drill/Driver
Weight:4.6 pounds

Like the impact driver the Mforce Drill/Driver is impressively powerful, and uses the same highly efficient nickel-metal-hydride battery packs to power it. It comes with impressive speed at 0 - 400 and 0 - 1300 rpm which will make easy work of pretty much any task. Changing modes is effortless as well, with a shift lock drive - also made by Makita locking the clutch to allow drilling to take place.
This Makita drill/driver is light and compact and again has a rubber grip on the handle for comfort and safety, it also does a great job at absorbing vibration.
The a fluorescent light in this kit is a very useful extra. It will light the darkest crawlspace.
This kit is a fantastic buy for any electrician, builder or plumber and makes a considerable saving on purchasing all the items separately.
