What is Carpet Cleaning Worth to You?

What exactly are you willing to pay for carpet cleaning? Should price be the only factor that you look at when hiring a professional carpet cleaning company? The rule of thumb that we use in the business is, "A cheap job is cheap work." Do you know what prices you should be paying for your carpet cleaning?
Here you'll see exactly why the price is such an important factor in your carpet cleaning company. There are some key things you can assume about a company just based on their prices. They all have to do with the integrity of the employee, employer, as well as the equipment used to clean your carpets. Each factor is equally as important to the overall outcome of your cleaning job.
If a company is really only charging $5.99 a room then how are they making any money on this job? They cannot be. Either they are lying and will pressure you into paying more to clean your house when they get there, or they are telling the truth about their prices and are going to do a poor job. Their cleaning process will be stringent because of the amount of time they are able to stay at your home and still make money off the job. Chances are they wont do a walk through with you at the end of their job because they don't care what you think. They have to rush to the next jobs on their list.
What is the integrity of the company that runs the business? They are probably paying their employees just above minimum wage, and not doing a background check as well. They are letting some guy come into your house to clean it and they don't know who he is or where he comes from. This is sketchy. And what about the integrity of the equipment? It is questionable how old their equipment is, as well as where they got it.
Sometimes, cheap carpet cleaning companies even use portable equipment rented at a grocery store to come in your home and clean carpet. The cleaning you receive is below average but it IS worth every bit you pay for it. If you want a cheap job done, call a cheap company. But if you desire a good cleaning to be given to you then you should call a company who's prices tell you they have some professional standards.
