When you hear "food bags" what comes into your mind? Is it the plastic wrapper with zipper locks made for sandwiches? Or is it a printed lunch box with a meal and juice inside for your kid who is going to school? Either ways, both really are food bags.
However, there are common conceptions that food bags are just limited to plastic rolls fully utilized in the kitchen. But interestingly enough, there are various kinds of food bags, which basically of course, handle foods to make it stay fresh.
Maybe you have not heard these yet, but I really find it interesting that food bags also have its specialties:
Let me start with the ones we see in the grocery stores that handles different amounts of foods, whether raw, dried, frozen, chunks, or in small pieces. These are called food packaging bags. These are securely sealed, sometimes with easy lock, and ensured that there is no air inside to guarantee food freshness.
For home baked cookies, chocolates and candies, I bet you are aware of cellophane food bags. These are widely used to carry foods as presents where you can tie a nice ribbon at the top. Cellophane food bags come in clear color and different sizes. They could also be reused as trash bags after munching on the goodies inside.
Another kind of food bag is the one used for delivery. Usually made of fabric material outside and firm plastic inside with zipper to lock, delivery food bags are especially made to keep your ordered pizza fresh until at your doorstep.
When you are going to a trip and would like to maintain the hotness or coldness of your packed foods, you will then need hot-and-cold food bags. These are made with special materials and secure zip that helps in keeping the current temperature of your foods.
One more kind is the fridge roll bags. These ones are clear, polythene plastic bags, easy to dispense, comes in different sizes, and with a special seal to prevent leaks and breaking when stored in the freezer. These are widely used to hold foods that need to be kept in the fridge like fruits, vegetables and meat.
And finally, there are also food preserving bags. These ones are especially made to preserve foods that are not commonly kept in the fridge. Usually these bags are made of fabric, lengthy, with an opening at the top and a zipper at the bottom for easy reach of the foods inside. Onions, garlic, potatoes, cheese and mushroom are well preserved in these food bags.
See, are not these kinds of food bags interesting enough to use?
