The Skyland located in Virginia is a protected area of numerous resorts and camp areas. More than a century ago in 1895, George Freeman Pollock, using his father’s property toiled day in and day out to build a resort purportedly to attract rich people from around the US shores. However, in 1931, the National Park Service was able to obtain the rights of the territory. From thereon until this very day, the place is managed by the Shenandoah personnel.
