iPhone 4, out in the beginning of the summer this year, considered to be a real commotion in today's technological market. Although many different opinions and lots of reviews were born in such short time after its release, it's still getting sold out very well, especially in company with attractive iPhone 4 case. Actually, that's exactly what was expected earlier – crashing the Apple's websites from the traffic coming from the sales. iPhone 4 paved the path to the Apple's way back to the peak of the smart phone market – the market that has currently advanced very far due to the many corporations and devices advancements (Nokia's mobile phones can be mentioned as one of the examples). However, were it not about the release of iPhone 4, the things might have turned a different way. There's a lot the new version of iPhone can offer, but all the features can be divided into four main topics.
Cameras
You got it right, there's not just one. iPhone 4 has two of them, but you shouldn't worry about the extra widgets on the frame – specially designed iPhone 4 cover will provide access to both of them. The first camera is 5 megapixel one located on the back and used for quality shots, featuring enhanced light sensitivity. Another one is VGA camera on the front of the phone. They both allow to implement the freshly introduced FaceTime technology, which works without any trouble, appearing to be one of the main innovations of the iPhone 4 in terms of functions.
Hardware internals
You have probably already heard that the iPhone 4 ticks thanks to the A4 Cortex processor, borrowed from the iPad, its bigger brother. It has also got an additional graphics chip that enhances iPhone's capabilities to the level where it is much easier and faster to load, making even the most impatient consumers very happy.
Display
This is undoubtedly a dessert. Actually, it looks like much of the developers' efforts were focused on the display. The display of the new iPhone 4 is named "Retina Display", increasing resolution up to 960*640, and a pixel density up to 326 ppi – that's almost twice as much as its predecessor, iPhone 3GS, used to have. One might argue that these characteristics can't be basically detectable, but it still shows up out in some occasions, particularly if you try to zoom out of a webpage. Never forget protecting the display from scratched, using a special film or iPhone 4 case.
Software
The last but not the least. iPhone 4 introduces the iOS4, which differs from the handful of new applications with the capability of multi-tasking. That's exactly what Apple's device needed desperately and consumers complained all the time. Now, with all this features out, the hope is that it won't be long before many third party designers welcome this idea and develop applications compatible with the background and multitasking of the new iPhone 4.
Over the first 10 days after its release, there were 1.5 million iPhones 4 sold, and it wasn't a great surprise, if to be honest.
