Zurich, in Switzerland is an amazing place with lots of places to visit - zoos and other places that you can enjoy, as well as the surrounding areas. From galleries to skiing, from art to entertainment, you can find something for everyone.
Museums and more
One of the most prominent museums in Zurich is the Reitburg Museum. It contains a collection of art from around the world, and the pieces it has chosen are striking, interesting and amazingly gorgeous. The African collection is one of the best in the world, and has dozens of pieces of art that are memorable and amazing. Other collections that rotate in and out on a temporary basis or their more permanent collections are well worth seeing.
Once you've enjoyed the Reitburg consider visiting the Sprunglis spread around the city - these speciality bakeries contain some of the most delicious examples of Swizz baking that you'll ever encounter and is well worth the visit. Selling speciality pastries and chocolates, these bakeries are spread throughout the city.

The vast array of wildlife has to be seen to be believed - the zoo is often crowded so you should take the day so you can see everything. The zoo also has a small petting zoo for children - with pigs and goats that they can see and touch and stroke.

If you especially like a sedate life, then touring the city may be more preferable to the other activities you can find outside the city - and there's plenty to do. You won't run out of places to explore, including some of the most interesting architecture in the world. Lots of the places you can see are either groundbreaking (new) areas or contain buildings of classic beauty and style. No matter what your interests, Zurich can cater to anything you like. The shopping is also top class, where you can buy the best chocolates and other examples of swizz food to enjoy.
