Star Wars The Clone Wars is a certified hit with kids, fans and critics, with each season becoming more popular and intriguing. If your child (or partner) is a fan of the series than you may be wondering how you can enhance their experience of the show. Well first there are the books.

With Star Wars being such a popular franchise for over 30 years, you can guarantee that there are heaps of books for kids and adults that will satisfy their interest, and for kids it's a great way to ignite their interest in reading.

DK Publishing has a long and great history with Star Wars and they have dived into The Clone Wars with no holds barred. Their two biggest books are their Ultimate Guides. Unlike similar Ultimate Guides to movies their two Clone Wars titles are huge!

Both "The Clone Wars Visual Guide" and "The Clone Wars Ultimate Battles" are 144 page hardcovers that are full of images and descriptions of characters and events from the movie and the first two seasons. DK have also released a Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia which is an exhaustive look at each droid, villain and hero in the series, as well as a few innocent bystanders.

Dark Horse has also been releasing Star Wars related books for many years but rather that being visual guides, their focus is on comics. Their Clone Wars Adventures series dealt with the lesser known Clone Wars 2D series by Genndy Tartakovsky but the series entitled simply, The Clone Wars deals more with the characters as depicted in the latest CGI cartoon series.

If you are a fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure books then Decide Your Destiny Clone Wars books might be appealing. A unique approach to storytelling these books allow the reader to make decisions which will affect the outcome of the story. In the same age group of 9-12 years, the Secret Mission series of books focuses on Jedi Nuru Kungurama and the Breakout Squad and their exciting adventures across the galaxy.

Younger readers will enjoy picture books or early learning levelled readers including The Hunt For Grievous, Bombad Jedi and the Holcron Crisis.
