Gazebos come in practically every different shape and size, and are constructed from a wide variety of materials. If you are looking for a backyard gazebo that looks great, is durable, but requires very little maintenance, then you may want to consider a vinyl gazebo.
Vinyl gazebos can be an elegant addition to any garden or backyard. One of the big advantages of gazebos made of vinyl is that they are virtually maintenance free. Since the color is normally dyed right into the resin material itself, they do not require staining or painting. In fact, if your vinyl gazebo ever gets a bit dusty or dirty just take a water hose and spray nozzle to rinse it off, and quickly it will look fresh and new again.
White is a common color for vinyl gazebos, but they can also come in black and have kind of a wrought iron look, or come in various wood stain colors. Again, the benefit here is that you can have the color or the look that you want, without the hassle of periodic painting or restaining. This frees you up to spend more time enjoying your gazebo and backyard garden instead of painting or providing upkeep for it.
As far as shapes and sizes go, it really doesn't matter whether or not your gazebo is made from vinyl or some other material. For example, standard shapes like pentagon, hexagon, rectangle and oval are normally available. Sizes like 8x8, 10x10, 12x12, 10x14, 10x20, along with other sizes can be found.
Like other gazebos, vinyl gazebos can come with or without screens. Adding these is often a nice touch, and allows you additional comfort if you live in an area were flying insects are often active. Decorative lights are also a nice accent that can be added that creates a somewhat festive atmosphere and allows you to enjoy your gazebo both day and night.
