One of the best ways to renovate your home is by updating small areas first. Take for example, the bathroom or more specifically the shower. Have you ever though about redoing it with travertine tile? This would give you a look that is really unique, classy, and elegant all at once. You would be amazed how the natural stone will make it look like you're showering in a castle. Of course, that's only the start of what you can do with the right types of tile, whether you're using them as flooring or a backsplash. So don't stop there if you really want to make a change in your home.
You will find that updating the flooring of your home is one of the easiest and most thorough ways to update your house and make it feel new. Whether you use
mosaic tiles or
marble tiles to do it is entirely up to you, but consider what look you're going for. You will find that marble is great in just about any room of the home because it's so durable and can come in just about any color. Mosaic tiles are better fit for a backsplash, as they might be too busy in color on the floor.
Keep your budget in mind throughout the whole process as well, because the last thing you want to happen is running out of money before you are completed. That's why it's a good idea to start small with travertine tile in the shower, for example. Of course, you can try mosaic tiles in the kitchen, as the backsplash behind the sink as well. That's a nice small area that shouldn't be too costly to update. Switching all the flooring over to marble tiles, on the other hand, is a completely different story.
So what you will find when you want to update your home is that changing the floor or the bathroom is a great place to start. You can really make it look much fancier without spending a lot more money by putting some travertine tile in the shower, and the same goes for marble tiles as the flooring.
