Today we are looking at getting the most from your Nokia 6700 and that includes the built-in 5 mega pixel camera that can also shoot SVGA and VGA video. The amount of pictures and video you can shoot is virtually unlimited if you attach 16GB SD card to the phone, which should account for the full twenty nine hours of battery life.

The quality of the Carl Zeiss lens is exceptional and is very similar to those found on Sony photographic products. The camera lens produces fine high quality prints at standard 50mm focal lengths.

Using the Nokia 6700 slide to take images either photos or video is very straightforward.

To activate the camera, press the camera key.

If necessary, switch from video mode to image mode by selecting ‘image mode’.

To zoom in or out use the scroll buttons. Up and down when in portrait mode and left and right when in landscape mode. Note that using digital zoom will lower the image quality.

To take a picture, first press the capture key half way down to lock the autofocus on the object.

Then press the capture key all the way to take the picture.

Do not move the 6700 before the image is saved and the final picture displayed.

To take a panoramic picture, select options then panoramic mode.

To capture the first image in a panorama press the capture key.

Slowly, turn the camera left or right as indicated by the arrows.

The green arrow indicates that you can slowly proceed to turn.

To complete the panoramic capture press stop.

Taking pictures is easy on your new nokia sixty seven hundred mobile phone, free on contract from Vodafone!
