On a trip together with the her family Lotso's Kid went to sleep on the grass. The father and mother ended up picking the girl up and putting her in a vehicle - leaving behind Lotso and two additional toys and games behind. Lotso Huggin was annoyed, however he was motivated not to quit on his owner. The three toys walked day and night until they finally got home. However, things would not go as thought out for Lotso. As he viewed through the window the little girl - his owner had a new Lots-O-Huggin bear toy to take his place as a friend.

Lots-O-Huggin was devastated, he was distressed and started to be furious and promised never to trust another kid once again. It was this incident that directed Lotso Huggin onto to his route of turning into a angry bear.

Still, expressing all of this, we need to remember that Lotso had not been always a bad bear. Previously he was as faithful a toy as Woody or Buzz Lightyear and he liked his owner a lot. The truth is, to become adored and to be used is exactly what all toys and games needed. If his owner (or perhaps the mother and father) would have demonstrated fathfulness and love, Lotso will have given it back.
