Hello there! I would just like to share with you some more information about Perfect Fit blinds.

Obviously the side blinds are all rectangular - they are not shaped like the roof blinds. However they do employ the same fabrics if you go for a pleated blind, meaning you can have the roof and side blinds to match!

One of the differences with the pleated side blind is that it is pre-tensioned simple up and down draw operated by hand - generally you won't need a pole to operate! Now if you have a heat problem don't put the blinds in your windows and expect it to solve the heat problem. Most of the heat problem is coming through the roof unfortunately so if you your conservatory is too hot or too cold it is the roof blinds you'll want.

So what other types of side blinds are there - well there is the roller blind and the Venetian blind. With Venetians the 25mm metal slat is most popular and this is available in lots of colours and choices, metal to look like wood, perforated etc.

Furthermore Venetians are not a lot more expensive than rollers these days too.

Venetians are of course more versatile too due to the fact hat you can tilt them and draw them. The downside is with Venetians is that you have got hanging controls.

Now on a normal Venetian you have a drawstring and a tilt rod, but with perfect fit there is something called smooth glide, which means that you adjust the draw by simply pushing the blind up. This just leaves a tilt rod to twist - which is perfectly child safe (whereas a cord is not child safe).

The perfect fit roller blind is indeed a blind in a frame but it is a pretension blind that has no dangling controls and locking bottom bars - again a nice alternative to pleated blind and of course as there is one per glass panel you still have total flexibility on the opening of the windows etc.
