As the temperatures begin to drop across the country we start preparing ourselves for the coming winter. We fill our fuel tanks, gather firewood, stock our shelves, rake up or leaves and put everything in the shed to keep it out of the weather. One thing however it seems that many people seem to wait until the last minute to do is put on their winter tires. For some reason the first snow storm tends to bring a mad rush of people that ends up with panic and chaos at the local tire dealer. A few days later that big brown UPS truck will come to your door with your brand new set of tires or you can even have them shipped to an installer of your choice. Keep in mind that many automotive shops have tire machines and can install them for you. It does not have to be a tire dealer that is mobbed this time of year.

The point I am trying to convey here is that winter tire shopping does not have to be a headache each year. We can take a deep breath and think this through. I myself do not like the pressure and don't mind taking the time to shop online. No one is pressuring me to click that buy button. However I know that many of us have turned to the internet for much of our shopping so why not consider doing the same when we are shopping for tires? It makes sense doesn't it? Of course it does.
