Cheryl Cole caused quite the tabloid stir this month when she turned up for a £500,000 advertising shoot for L’Oreal whilst sporting her £25 dressing gown from Marks & Sparks. The style gurus of The Daily Mail, People and Look Magazine were quick to report this sighting, Cheryl's fuschia, terry towelling bathrobe divided the fashionistas, some reported the sighting with acclaim and others with criticism.

Personally we were delighted! Cheryl has done wonders in helping to raise the profile of the dressing gown. Her choice of attire demonstrated to the world the versatility and many occasions when a dressing gown is the ideal garment of choice! Cheryl has propelled herself into our number one favourite celebrity pedestal she gets a great big thumbs-up from us!
