There many popular types of housings in the Philippines today, giving Filipinos the freedom to choose which type of housing can best serve their needs. But the question is which of these types of housings can truly offer them the kinds of benefits they are looking for?
Popular Types of Housings in the Philippines
Some of the most popular types of housings in the Philippines are condominiums, apartments, houses, and townhouses. These types have been in the market for many years, and some of these have continuously grown and expanded to accommodate the growing needs of many Filipinos, particularly in today’s modern trends and lifestyles.
Each type of housing holds different advantages as well as disadvantages. However, according to many Philippine real estate experts, these housings’ benefits usually depends on the need of its residents, if their residents needed a quieter location for their family, or a location which they can easily access from their work.
Best Houses in Terms of Needs
Family-Oriented Housing
According to traditional Filipinos, the only types of housings which are perfect for a growing Filipino family are houses. These types of housings are usually found in residential districts, which can offer a more peaceful environment compared to other types of housings in the Philippines.
Other than houses, many of today’s modern Filipino families have also moved to living in a townhouse or in a condominium complex. These types of housings are also known as some of the most popular and modern types of housings in the Philippines, particularly for condominium complexes.
According to many Philippine real estate experts, the reason why condominium complexes and a number of townhouses became popular for many Filipino families is because most of these types of housings are found in the outskirts or even in the provinces. Part of what made condominium complexes popular, on the other hand, is its amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, recreational parks, and playgrounds.
Fast-Paced Needs
As for Filipinos living in a fast-paced lifestyle, condominiums, apartment buildings, and townhouses are considered to offer some of the best types of modern housing in the Philippines. Because most of these types of housing are found in business and commercial districts, which gives its residents the luxury of living within walking distance from their workplaces.
Affordability
As for affordability, renting an apartment is still considered as the most affordable. However, according to many Philippine real estate experts, a number of new houses can be bought and paid in installment, which can be more affordable compared to renting an apartment. Part of the reason is because these houses can be owned while paying for in installment, while the ownership of apartments still remain with its landlord.
