Do pheromones work? If we look around at the numbers of couples that seem to be an odd match, one might say yes. That does seem to prove that pheromones do in fact work. If you consider how many couples you see that consist of a balding, short man and a beautiful, tall young woman, it would seem that pheromones must be hard at work.

Thanks to pheromones, a lot of people that do not seem to belong together are falling for each other. Pheromones work in our sub-conscious minds and we do not even realize that they are working. Many people just underestimate the power of their pheromones.

How many relationships do you know of, where the couple has been together for many years? They were probably attracted to each other initially because of pheromones. Everyone gives off pheromones and most of us do not realize it.

Our bodies naturally produce the pheromones that are the most effective. There are also many colognes and perfumes on the store shelves today that promise to make your body produce the musky scent of pheromones when you are around someone that you are attracted to.

How can it be possible for these pheromone fragrances to work when each person's body is different? It is hard to understand how any company can claim that their fragrance will work on everyone. The way that the pheromone fragrances on the store shelves work is that they blend with your natural pheromones to enhance them, making you more attractive to others.

Recent studies have proven that pheromones can also help to improve a bad mood, knock out depression and have a calming effect on the nerves when a person is upset. This research seems to be credible if we consider the number of aromatherapy products that are available.

There may not be a scientific answer to the original question "Do pheromones work?", but there does seem to be evidence that they do. Some believe that it works simply because it allows the user to believe that they will work, giving him or her that boost of confidence that they need. While that may also be true, when we look at some of the couples that seem to be an odd match, it would appear to be more than confidence, suggesting that pheromones are hard at work, helping these couples to find each other and be attracted to one another.
