The most applied allocation of any household is the floor. The condition of a floor can soon deteriorate because of wear and tear if not in an accurate manner looked after. Floor polishing natural stone steadily maintains its aesthetic appeal and allows living areas to appear bright and fresh. Every Polishing Company offer a number of services which can be tailored to your needs from complex grinding to simple buffing.
Leveling
Newly laid marble floors are frequently installed unevenly and unpolished. This provides significant benefit for the constructor in installation time and raw material cost. Floor leveling service involves grinding down the newly laid floor until the surface is utterly even and then undergoing polishing to develop the same frequent of finish as factory pre-polished stone.
Diamond Service
Overtime, the surface appearance of marble floors deteriorates because of heavy traffic use, excessive humidity, or the use of abrasive chemical cleaning productions. When the surface erodes, little pitted marks and scratches can be seen. Diamond Service involves honing off the top surface layer of the marble to leave a clean, utterly smooth finish which is then polished to develop a deep long lasting shine.
Deep Shine Service
This is floor polishing service for treating marble, terrazzo, limestone and granite. Using the right methods and chemicals is the sole way to accomplish a deep long lasting shine. Deep Shine Service is a two stage procedure: In the first place, the floor is thoroughly cleaned using acid. This not only removes the matt effect formulated by the calcites in the stone but likewise provides a base for crystallization. Secondly, a crystallizing resin is impregnated into the marble giving long lasting shine and shelter.
Crystal Service
Crystal Service is a follow on maintenance program to the Deep Shine Service. Once the floor has been in an accurate manner polished, it might need a simple buffing at galore time in the future to maintain the protective layer against wear and tear and to assist the natural color splendor of the stone shine through.
Metamorphic Rocks
Marble is a good example of a metamorphic rock which is an aggregate of calcite and dolomite crystals and has undergone a transformation because of motion in the earth’s crust while under intense heat and pressure. Marble is characterized by its fine crack line veining and is the most common material for flooring homes in the Mediterranean basin.
Floor Polishing
The most common types of marble found in Spain are stones originating from Macael in Almería. They range from the grey, sometimes white marble commonly known as Macael Blanco to the soft cream stone known as Crema Marfíl. They all have different characteristics of wear, impact resistance and tensile force. However, the durability of a polished marble floor will count upon the amount of traffic (influencing surface wear and tear) and the humidity content of the stone. Marble, travertine and limestone are very porous natural materials and can readily absorb moisture prior to installation. Over time, the moisture within the stone sweats out causing carbonatic mineral deposits on the surface which can only be removed using the right floor polishing processes and chemicals.
Natural stone lends itself very well to polishing and is the main most frequently applied finish. However, using the right methodology is the sole way to guarantee a good result.
By not applying the right chemicals to the problem (suchlike using solvents or alkaline chemicals) the floor can be seriously damaged.
Floor polishing is a two stage procedure: In the first place, the calcite deposit is removed using acid thereby thoroughly cleaning the surface and exposing the pores of the stone.
Secondly, a crystallizing resin is impregnated into the stone to provide long lasting shine and shelter. Once the floor has been in an accurate manner treated, it is commended that the floor is crystallized on a each year basis.
