What do you think you should get out of bathroom mixer taps, in terms of quality, the handling of the products, to even down to how the water comes out of the mixer taps. But one of the most important factors to consider is, imagine you’ve applied soap on your face and now you want to open the bathroom mixer taps, to wash the soap of the face so you do this whilst the eyes are closed so.
That’s why to operate the mixer taps should be as easy as operating it blindfold. I’m sure you’re like me where the last thing you want to do is open your eyes when you’ve got soap all over your face as its going to sting the eyes. That small age of having soap on your face when it first started, comes back to haunt you in your old age.
The bathroom mixer taps should be well placed in the bath as it is an essential part of the bathroom suite itself. If it is installed and wrongly plumbed to the water mains then over time it’s going to start with small leaks which would cause damp to occur and then the inevitable a major leak. So when a major leak happens then if your bathroom mixer taps are above the kitchen or the living room imagine what’s that going to do to the rooms below it. Not only is it going to ruin the bathroom suite but also the rooms below, with carpets being ruined, the sofas, to even the kitchen cabinets.
It’s easier to but the bathroom mixer taps, but it require patience and common sense to install and fit the mixer taps. Whenever you buy bathroom mixer taps then make sure first and foremost that they are environmentally friendly, and therefore it save the planet long run and your wallet also, having less bills. It’s always better in my opinion that you get a professional tradesman to fit the mixer taps, as the workman would have the experience the correct understanding of the procedures of fitting the taps.
You could have a go yourself but if you’ve never done anything like this then I wouldn’t recommend you doing it. If for instance after one or two weeks the bathroom taps starts leaking then you would ring the original tradesman that fitted the actual mixer taps in the first place therefore you’ve got some kind of reassurance like a guarantee for a minimum of one to two years.
When buying new bathroom mixer taps that you’re replacing it with old leaking mixer taps, you need to make sure that it corresponds to the existing style of the bathroom suite as well as the basin taps, and the basin ceramic sink unit. You don’t want to end up with one basin tap as a white tap, and then having chrome taps as your bath taps. This would make the whole bathroom disorientated and it’s never going to look the best bathroom in the world now is it? So take time out and research into your new bathroom taps because it’s you that’s going to have to turn the tap on and off for the next decade or so.
