As a druid, you don't have many race alternatives. You get Night Elf for Alliance faction and Tauren for Horde faction. Of course, there are also Troll and Worgen after the Cataclysm update. For the time being, Night Elf seems to be a popular choice for druid class, thus I’ll try to give some tips for a Night Elf Druid Leveling Guide.

  1. Select more compatible tree for leveling

While I won’t against you going Balance and be a spellcaster, the Feral Combat tree with a few points in Restoration tree is the most recommended spec for quick leveling. You can tank (to certain extent), burst decent damage, and can heal yourself. This is a perfect skill combination for solo leveling.

Of course, you can’t have your animal form right from the start, so I suggest you employ whatever you got to make life easier for you in the earlier level. Acquire these spells:

  • Mark of the Wild: improve your armor.

  • Moonfire: allow you to kill quicker.

  • Thorns: damage the enemies if they hit you.

  • Entangling Roots: another good skill to preserve your life.

  • Bear Form: the start of your life in Feral Combat.

As I said above, you’ll want to mix some Restoration talents, here are some vital talents that you should get:

  • Improved Mark of the Wild: one of the best buffs in WoW.

  • Naturalist: enhance your physical damage in all forms.

  • Omen of Clarity (spell): provide you with chances to use your abilities without using energy.

  1. Complete the entire quests

Level 1-10 will be the easiest and fastest leveling in your whole life, so make sure you pick up and complete all the quests. This is essential because these quests will give you plenty of useful stuffs along with gold and spells. Furthermore, they contain several important things that you will need later; so rather than saving a couple of minutes by skipping a quest and regret it later, it is better to do them all.

  1. Don’t neglect your profession training

Early start will make sure that your profession level keeps following your overall level. Remember that you can leveling some of these professions while hunting monsters too, so they will not hinder your leveling speed.

Your professions also will get you some additional income from selling raw materials or making things. If you are just started, gatherer professions such as skinning and herbalism are good ideas.

You can make your leveling process easier by doing the tips above. The next thing you need is the information on how to finish each quests as fast as possible, ditch unimportant and time consuming quests, and get the best rewards from the selected quests. The only way to know that is by having a good Night Elf Druid leveling guide, so I suggest you get one for yourself and get started at once.

With so many leveling guides around, it could be quite confusing to choose one. Read fast leveling guide to know the features that an outstanding leveling guide must have. Also, check out another look at Zygor Guidesfor the details of my most recommended guide.
