The most important aspect of a healthy horse is maintaining strong feet. It is absolutely necessary to re-shoe your horse and that you check its feet regularly. There is an assortment of different problems which can happen to a horse's feet. Many of which can cause lameness, so make sure this is done regularly. Many equine supplements are available which promote foot and hoof health.
Another good idea for your horse is antioxidant supplements. Often these are just as important in horses as they are people. Making sure your horse gets the correct amount of antioxidants will certainly support good equine health.

Another important horse supplement is the ones used for proper digestion. Caring for your horse's digestive tract is tricky but allowing it to work smoothly is very important. You may not realize it but digestive problems can lead to major health issues in horses. There are a few different supplements from which to pick from which aid in promoting you’re a healthy digestive tract in your horse.
Finally, it imperative to remember not every horse supplement will work for your individual horse. It is always a smart idea to check with your veterinarian about whether or not you should give them to your horse before actually doing so. Your vet will also let you know which ones are okay to give your horse.
