Just remember that you also have the option of using fiberglass shingles.

That being the case they are also quite a bit more expensive, though if you want to move into even more useful territory you might ask the company about solar shingles. These shingles will actually collect power for the utilities in your house, and they can actually be installed across the roof. From far away they will appear to be black shingles and will be aesthetically pleasing in any case. Make sure you keep this in mind when you are ready to install your singles.
