In everything that we do, our thoughts inevitably daze into the future, wondering what it has in store for us. As we watch Flash Forward, that’s one concept that we get a glimpse into, since the show lays focus on what changes occurred in the lives of a group of people after they got a look, albeit a short one into their lives six months ahead. If you’re wondering how this could possibly happen, then read on as I tell you all about Flash Forward.
Well, the 137 seconds long trip into the future that forms the pivotal plot of the show’s episodes began with a mysterious event that happened on the planet, causing everyone to simultaneously lose consciousness for that period, in which they got a glimpse into what their future would be 6 months from then. This global ‘flash forward’ led to mayhem spreading all across the world, with everyone changing the regular course of their lives in accordance to what they had seen of the future.
Can you imagine what it would be like if something of the sort really happened? What would your future be like? For me, this concept has always been the most intriguing concept for a TV show, and that’s why I can never get enough of the excitement that’s unleashed on the Flash Forward episodes.
As far as the characters in the show are concerned, each one of them had something really exciting to see in their future. As for Mark Benford, he saw himself succumbing to his alcoholism in the virtual time leap. His wife on the other hand, saw herself with another man.
While these ones had a logical explanation to them, there was one vision that had no conclusion that could be drawn from it. That was the vision of Demetri Noh, who saw nothing! That was shocking because it either meant that he would be dead by that time, or that his future wasn’t yet determined.
The storyline of the show weaves into these visions and how they affect the lives of those who see them. It is an immensely thought-provoking concept which forces one to think of what it would be like if something of the sort actually happened in reality. Apart from this, the show also takes a logical twist as a team of scientists put their minds together to draw an explanation to the uncanny event.
If you’re a sci-fi enthusiast who’s lured to watch the drama-packed concept of Flash Forward that’s entwined with top-notch sci-fi, then you don’t need to be distressed over the show having completed its season long run. You can still watch Flash Forward online, which is as good an option as catching the show on TV.
I am a huge fan of TV shows and i love to watch flashforward Episodes. The storyline of the show weaves into these visions and how they affect the lives of those who see them. All the seasons of this show are awesome.I like to watch flashforward online.
