One way to offset the high price of granite is to buy it from a wholesaler. If the bathroom is large enough, this may be an option for homeowners. Another way to lower the cost of is to purchase "junk" pieces of granite. If you find a wholesaler that has mis-cut slabs, they may sell those scraps for a lower price.
