Many bathrooms are built with only one place for bathroom storage. In the average sized bathroom the only built in storage is the cabinetry under the sink counter. Because bathrooms are typically small with limited floor space it is also not a common thought to put a piece of furniture in the room. If you are the type of person that keeps a lot of items in their bathroom you may want to consider a bathroom storage cabinet. These cabinets come in varying widths and sizes. A large bathroom can fit a larger piece of furniture but even a small apartment has space for a smaller cabinet.
A larger area can hold a wide storage cabinet that sits on the floor and up against a wall. These cabinets can be found in almost any color and finish and can come equipped with solid wood or glass doors, or can also have open shelving that is not concealed with doors. Bigger bathrooms really look very attractive with cabinets that have length as well as a nice counter top on the top of the storage cabinet. Ones with more length will be able to hold more accessories in them and cabinets that are waist height can display attractive bathroom accessories on the top of them. The cabinets that have some concealed shelving and some exposed shelving really become a versatile piece in a bathroom because the concealed shelves can hold linens while the exposed shelving is able hold a beautiful glass jar filled with decorative bath soaps, bath bombs, or jars of lovely colored bath bubbles. Exposed shelving can also be fitted with square or rectangular baskets to hold additional bath items.
Even smaller bathrooms that do not have a lot of square footage may fit a storage cabinet with the type of cabinet that fits over the toilet. This type of cabinet sits over the tank of the toilet and the legs extend down the sides of the toilet, so the end result is additional and attractive storage space above the toilet that does not take up valuable floor space. This is an extremely efficient way of getting the most out of the limited space available to you in the room, and also maximizes the amount of items you may store without cluttering the area.
These types of cabinets are great for storing extra towels and washcloths, extra toilet paper, tissues, shampoos and conditioners, and bath toys. Bathroom storage cabinets may be of use to anyone that needs a place to put bath accessories.
