Most of what you do in CityVille will only earn you one or two experience points so it can become quite worthless to do tasks that take longer but pay more if the goal is just experience points.

Tip #1- One of the best ways to gain experience points is to grow strawberries. Strawberries take only 5 minutes to grow before they are ready for harvest, and no matter what crops you plant, you will gain 1 or 2 experience points a pop for harvesting them.

So plant and harvest strawberries (or another quick-growth plant, such as eggplants) and keep spending energy on harvesting them.

Strawberries are also excellent because the strawberry collection is easy to build, and when you complete the collection, you can trade it in for 3 bonus experience points.

Tip #2- Other very similar strategies to getting more CityVille XP points would be to build a lot of country homes. You can collect money from country homes every 5 minutes, which not only earns you 1-2 experience points every time you collect, but makes the collection very easy to complete, too.

It’s the same with bakeries, which take only 10 goods and can be collected from frequently. Basically, anything that gives you an action to do in a very short period of time, even though it earns a small amount of money, is excellent for experience points.

The faster you can gain energy and expend energy, the quicker your level-ups will be.

Tip #3- One of my favorites is to build lots and lots of city halls. They are excellent for many reasons. First of all, they only take 3 CityVille friends (or 3 City Dollars) to activate after you complete the build. Once they are active, you can collect every 24 hours.

Almost every time you collect from a city hall, you will get bonus energy (most often 2 bonus energy points). Build a bunch of city halls and collect from them daily and you will earn a LOT of bonus energy (not to mention a bunch of free experience points).

The action that most frequently earns you 2 experience points (instead of 1) is building a building after you buy it, especially a community building. To earn fast experience, buy a community building, complete the necessary number of build actions on it, and then sell it. You’ll earn back the same amount of money that you spent on it, and you’ll have extra experience points!
