The most popular type of floor covering is carpet. A lot of houses all around the world are carpeted. Carpets and rugs are wonderful because they are so warm and stylish.
Carpets aren't always so fantastic though. Lots of people experience problems with stains and dirt, if your carpet gets dirty then you can find it difficult to clean it. Specialist equipment is required to clean your carpet, or the use of a professional company.
There are loads of different types of equipment for cleaning carpets. It's not just heavy industrial truck based equipment which can be used to clean carpets. There are plenty of much more affordable pieces of equipment. These can be brought and kept at home. Because of this these are smaller and should also be cheaper.
If you can't justify purchasing brand new carpet cleaning equipment then you can also opt for used carpet cleaning equipment.
Used equipment is available for all the different types of carpet cleaning equipment. There are various cleaners including domestic and industrial professional cleaners. Lightweight steam cleaners can be brought and used anywhere around the house. More powerful equipment is also available however this is normally truck mounted. Few people would be able to consider using this at home. Normally this equipment is much too big to be considered at home.
Truck mounted equipment are generally only used for professional cleaning projects. It's possible for this equipment to clean carpets all over the house because they have very long hoses. The equipment is powered by the engine of the truck and this means that they are portable and don't require electricity. It's important to note that this is very dangerous equipment and must only be used by trained skilled individuals.
The domestic versions of these carpet cleaners are much safer and easier. Most carpet cleaners are steam cleaners. Stains are removed by using steam and hot water. Brushes make it much easier to get rid of the stains. These are not designed for industrial use and are only suitable for domestic home based use. A problem with domestic equipment is that it doesn't dry the carpet well. Drying times can vary but it typically takes a couple of days. This slow drying can create problems with mold.
It's possible to take this portable equipment wherever you possibly need it. These might not be good equipment for industrial use however they are still very useful at removing the odd stain in your carpet.
