Probably only a certain group of people have heard about the name Julian Assange before - the ones that were familiar with WikiLeaks, or that were interested about "the greatest hacker in the world", but these days his name is filling up the media all around the world, speaking about the possible threat that he might be. The incredible increase of his popularity started few days ago when his web page, WikiLeaks, has published over 250,000 confidential messages from U.S. embassies around the world and has revealed all kinds of salaciousness for world leaders, but in fact, who stands behind all these "hidden object games" and who has the power to know all this things?

The name Julian Assange these days has been connected so many times with the name of the Agent 007, James Bond. Nobody knows where he is, or doesn’t want to tell. The rumors say that he is every day in a different country, sleeping on airports or in hotels, but checking in with a false name. His mobile phone and his Laptop are encrypted so no one can chase his track. He makes irregular public appearances using them to speak about freedom of the press, censorship, and investigative reporting.

This Australian has reportedly attended six universities - he studied physics and mathematics, but also philosophy and neuroscience. After turning 16, Assange began hacking and succeeded to enter into the systems of many important organisations in Australia, but these days he says that he is not "up to date" so his work can’t be named hacking. He is best known as the spokesperson and editor-in-chief for WikiLeaks, and has won several journalism awards for his work there. This web page was founded in 2006 and thru the years its database had grown to more than 1.2 million documents. This media publishes submissions of otherwise unavailable documents from anonymous sources and leaks.

The US authorities are trying to represent Julian Assange as a "Public Enemy No.1", the President Obama and the people around him are trying to prevent from further leaks, equalling them to terrorist attacks. They suggest similar treatment as the way of prosecuting Al-Qaeda, and also there are demands for physical elimination of Julian Assange. But besides that, strange thing is that the international law enforcement system has found an asymmetrical way of prosecution. Assange is blamed of a criminal act, but this act is not connected with what he is really famous for, it’s about rape and sexual assault. These are the charges that have made the Interpol declare a worldwide search and issue an international arrest warrant.

The whole story has many inconsistencies, how is it possible one man to have so much power, and why no one doesn’t speak about the documents and the information that are so dangerous according to WikiLeaks, but whole attention is around Assange?! It seams that the real story is yet to come…
