Event Security Can Make Or Break Your Day

One of the major considerations facing you as an event or party planner is event security provision for your occasion.
It is a mistake to go down the road of choosing either the cheapest you could find or even taking a chance on the first security company you come across.
This attitude is fine if all you are looking to do is fulfil an insurance requirement or look to have positions filled but this could be a costly mistake as you cannot guarantee the quality of event security operative you are hiring.
Choosing the correct security personnel is imperative and getting it wrong with poorly turned out or truculent event security staff will reflect badly on you and the entire event.
As event security members are almost always the first point of contact for patrons, then should you get the staffing wrong then you will very quickly realise that your career has been irrevocably stained and will be beyond redemption.
It is not only good money you are throwing away but your hard earned reputation as a quality service provider.
You may recognise the old dictum, less is more, and when it comes to hiring a quality show and event security operator then you will find it to be entirely suitable.
When choosing a potential event security service provider I would recommend looking for that extra incentive.
Look to hire a security company that utilises staff who share a background in the emergency services. These people will have additional core skills that an ordinary security worker can only dream about and will have used them on an almost daily basis.
The reasoning behind this is that not only do they have the same understanding of all aspects of security but they will be trained to a higher degree in trauma management, they will have road traffic collision knowledge, emergency response driver experience and numerous other skills that an ordinary security operative will never acquire.
If you are responsible for the organisation of a function and if you are given the chance of either hiring two security operatives who are on minimum wage or hiring a single guy who is, at the outset, more costly but has all of the formerly mentioned additional attributes then I would select the lone guy.
Why?
Simply put, the lone operative has a proven pedigree in professionalism and dedication to getting the job done to the highest of standards, whereas the two who are on minimum wage have no incentive to put in the same level of effort and may actually resent the task they are given.
When you begin to look at it from this perspective then you will understand that you are receiving the best value for your investment, an excellent representative for your organisation, an operative who is tried and experienced in demanding environments and a person who is able to deal with a host of extra scenarios.
Do your research and source an up and coming security company who look to provide event security operatives who are drawn not only from ex military backgrounds but from the emergency services.
Contacting such a security company will put you in touch with an eager to please firm whose staff will possess a wealth of experience and knowledge as regards security and they will be well practised in trauma care and health and safety matters.
Our company, Go Executive Protection Ltd, can provide your event with experienced and professional Event Security Officers and at a competitive cost to yourself.
