Browser sharing is one of the tools you can normally find now in any conference package. Im talking about online video conferencing software. There are so many providers now and the need for online conferencing has boomed over the last couple of years. Online video conferencing has developed over time and now technology allows us to almost replicate that of an offline meeting. What enables us to do this is the tools and functions that now come with a conference package.
I am going to talk about browser sharing in particular, but here is a rundown of a typical conference set up and its functions. Most providers offer a range of packages to suit any needs and requirements. This includes volume of attendees, the overall cost, the objective of the conference, and more. The tools you can expect to find including browser sharing are, desktop sharing, file sharing, video sharing, PowerPoint sharing, Record function, full way video streaming, full way multi text chat, and more. These tools combined and used correctly can make for a fantastic conference experience. In fact a well prepared online conference can run as close to an offline meeting as possible, the only thing missing is the close interaction and chit chat you find when people gather. This is not a problem as Conferencing software, and its tools, and the cut in costs are all worth it.
Browser sharing is one of the functions I highly recommend. If you have ever been to a conference or meeting, you will notice that they always have leaflets and programs which they give out, which contain a web address of some kind. In fact the Internet is a huge hub of information and used as a reference all the time. With browser sharing there is no need to be using examples which the attendees need check out later. Browser sharing is simple to use and can be accessed at the click of a button.
During your conference, should you want to use browser sharing you would simply toggle on the browser sharing button. Once on, all attendees will see a browser directly in the conference interface. You will be in control of this and you can then begin to navigate the Internet using this browser. Any website you can see, so can your attendees. This works great for sharing important information you have found online. You may also want to show them demonstrations with your own website, like how to register, login, use functions, and more. I think you get the idea.
As you can see browser sharing is a great function to have. Basically you can navigate the web right in front of all your attendees and conduct the conference via video and audio at the same time. No more handing out website address for later use, make it part of your conference.
Browser sharing, along with the other tools, gives you a great experience in online video conferencing. Your best bet is to get a free trial demo account with a conference provider and try the tools out first. You will soon grasp the concept and realise the potential.
