Wardrobes That Are Sliding Or Fitted For Pragmatic Use

We had recently moved house but I never thought about brand new wardrobes. In our former house, the bedrooms all had fitted wardrobes. These were practical as they maximise space in a room, but as they had not been put in by us, their layout was not entirely what we might have chosen ourselves.
When I started thinking about wardrobes for the brand new house, I decided to shop around and get a feel for what was available first. My aim was to buy fine quality, free-standing wardrobes, which would last us for years and go with us if and when we moved again. I needed to find matching furniture as I only wanted to buy brand new wardrobes, not complete new bedroom furniture.
I had figured that the master bedroom would take a double wardrobe as there was a large alcove, however I was seriously doubting whether we would be ok with just one wardrobe. Perhaps we needed two. However two wardrobes would take up more space and the room could feel enormously small.
It seemed a standard double wardrobe would just not be enough for both of us; even if I ended up storing my clothes into his side of the wardrobe. It turned out to be my lucky day though. I found a triple-sized wardrobe that would fit into the alcove with millimetres to spare, which answered all my needs. It had two generous double-fronted wardrobes on either side with a single in the middle which had been given over to shelving and drawers.
Choosing the finish was all that was left. If I placed mirrored doors on the outside then this would lend weight to the sense of space. A light pine wood is what I settled with in the end though. There was a mirrored door to the central section of the wardrobe, so I felt we had the best of all worlds.
The children's rooms were less of a problem as a single wardrobe for each would easily fit all their clothes. However, because their rooms were fairly small, I thought purchasing small double wardrobes, with drawers and shelves included, would eliminate the need for other furniture in the room. We could store their toys and games on the shelves and in the drawers. The brand new wardrobes are fashionable, have been built with expert workmanship and have the perfect finish. There are a number of good points including the fact that because they are well made, they will last for loads of years.
Sliding wardrobes are another way to create an illusion of space in your bedroom. There are many styles of fitted wardrobes, that will suit any bedroom no matter what shape or style.
