Do you find it intimidating when you walk into a computer shop and they bombard you with jargon that they expect you to know? Well this article is going to explain it all to you so you don't have to feel intimidated and can grab yourself some cheap laptops at the same time!

When you are faced with having to spend out a fortune on a laptop but you haven’t got a clue what you are spending your money on, it can make you feel quite apprehensive. The thought of all that money going into the till when you don’t even know what you are buying can be a real worry which is why it’s important to research cheap laptop before you decide to buy one. The laptops that are available in high street stores can be quite limiting and may not suit your needs. So where do you look when you aren’t sure what your needs are? That is the beauty of the internet. You can find pretty much anything on the internet which is why so many people look here first.

If you don’t know what you need from a laptop then you have to ask yourself a few questions. If you need to store lots of files on your computer including lots of software then you will need a large hard drive. This is where all your information will be stored and will be accessed when you need it. You will also need a large RAM. This is what keeps the laptop working fast and lets you access files quickly. Once you have sorted both of these you should go on to think of other things you might need from your laptop. Think about things like the quality of the graphics card, the speed of the processor and how lightweight you want it (you may think this is a given but you’d be surprised how much a few grams makes when your lugging it around work all day. All of these requirements shouldn’t be subject to compromise otherwise you won’t be getting the right laptop for you. Try to stick to this list and don’t be swayed by the price.

You will need to take into consideration the amount you will be paying for delivery charges as this can sometimes bump up the price by ten or twenty pounds. Another way to find cheap laptops is to look for refurbished laptops. Refurbished laptops give you a great deal and will include a lot of technology for your money. Almost all refurbished laptops are brand names and come as a high spec laptop. If you think that your budget won’t stretch to what you need from your list of requirements then you could opt to pay by installments. This means that you only pay a low monthly fee and still get the laptop that you want.
