I owed my first purse when I was a sophomore. Previous to that, I always had an admiration to the classmates who had their own purses since they were able to take the purses out with a light heart each time when purchasing, avoiding the embarrassing situation in which you went through all the pockets, but could not find the charge prepared beforehand. And I still had a feeling that a purse seemed to have a magic power to make you more mature and charming.
So it came naturally that I bought my first purse in my sophomore year. In the beginning, I was so excited to take the purse out when doing shopping. All the cards I owed, including the bank cards, the discount cards and the integral cards were arranged in the purse by me in order. Before going out, I would put a handful of change and then went shopping with the rear secure.
While my beautiful mood relating to my new purse came to an end by the time I told this to my mother on the phone, she rained down curses on my head with a list of the disadvantages of taking a purse with me when I was away from home. As far as she is concerned, the only function of going out with a purse is to make it as convenient as possible for the thieves to steal all the money you get. Though I kept stating the conveniences it had brought to me, she turned a deaf ear to it. I insisted that I was not convinced by her, while the following situations were totally out of my control. After the conversation between us, I became hesitated on account of the security of taking my purse with me. I would fear ambush at every tree and tuft of grass each time I went out with my purse. What kept torturing me was far more than this, it is kind of weird that I always heard of the stories about losing purses from then on, and each one was a costly experience which would take the purse¡¯s owner a long time to get over.
After a period of suffering, I was thoroughly defeated. The purse was dismissed earlier than planned. The reason I made up to comfort myself was that it was kind of old, for all it was only the third week it came into my life. And this is the story between my first purse and me which was not channeled to useful ends.
