Even though the entire world is facing recession and Dubai is no exception, the city still attracts both the men and women expat to come, stay and work here. Often known as the city of opportunities, this city provides ample and equal chances to every one. Dubai women are availing their opportunities as well and are contributing in the growth of overall economy.

The industries where women are actively participating are banking, hotel, media, fashion, fast moving consumer goods, (fmcg) and etc. Women are at the peak of their performance especially in customer services and public relations departments. It has been seen that women are working in Dubai as successful Doctors, Architects and Lawyers. All the prestigious business hotels in Dubai have employed women as their Guest Relations Manager. The recent Emiratization policy in U.A.E has given much importance to the local women and now decent numbers of national women are working at the government departments as well.
Organizations also prefer to hire women according to their eligibility in various disciplines as they are getting enormous benefits by that. Most of the women expat in Dubai lives there on their husband's visa, so when a company hires such woman they are not required to provide medical coverage facility to her. Moreover, as the female has already got a legal residence status because of her husband, due to that the company saves the visa sponsoring expense as well.
Dubai culture offers everything that attracts everyone especially women. Dubai lifestyle is a combination of huge shopping malls, renowned brands, duty free economy and luxurious automobiles. This city is without any doubt a shopping paradise. The fast paced culture has not only promotes the tourism industry but has also created lots of business opportunities in Dubai. This shopping and tourist paradise is just like a mini world where one can witness people from all the ethnic backgrounds, speaking many languages and having different dress codes.
Dubai is also ranked as one of the safest city of the region and that also motivates Dubai women to come out and perform their role with peace of mind. It is rightly said that women are an integral part of any country's economy as they constitutes almost half of the total work force. Working women in Dubai are not far behind and they are fulfilling their responsibilities professionally and with devotion.
