A recent sting research by the students in Roanoke valley, Virginia has revealed some obvious revelations about these machines and their hygiene. They accumulated samples of water, Coke, Pepsi etc. from these locations and inspected them at the local path labs. Results revealed these samples to be infested with alarmingly high percentage of bacteria - actually exceeding the EPA's drinking water standards.
The dangers of poor hygiene when it comes to these machines may be detrimental later on. Consumers must consider alternatives such as obtaining their very own home soda maker machine.
As per the reports, the bi-annual inspection of the restaurants is not enough to maintain the cleaning standards of the vending machines which supply soda drinks. At home, we aspire to maintain spotlessness and cleanliness. Such hygiene comes from our interest for the well-being of our family. So while at food-joints they scantily clean 3-4 machines once daily, in your own home you can preserve more hygiene by cleaning your soda maker machine at least 3 times a day; bearing in mind the fact that it's extremely imperative to at least keep the nozzle of the appliance clean.
Research Findings
Based on the research findings almost all of the samples contained high levels of coliform bacteria which is generally present in human and animal waste. This bacteria is known to bring about gastrointestinal uneasiness. The soda syrups contained inside the internal tubing of the machines are also the key areas of bacterial inhabitation because these are moist and mainly left un-sanitized. To date, no governing bodies has made a move to ensure that eateries keep these machines clean. It could possibly be due to the fact that not enough people report conditions that are linked to consuming soda.
Now you are aware that there are risks connected to drinking soda from dubious places you should seriously consider installing your own soda maker machine. With it you will be able to maintain a level of hygiene and cleanliness which is suitable to you.
Not just that. Most of the diet conscious beverages are costlier by 40% of their general variants. So we can also be health conscious by choosing to mix the soda syrups in our choicest ratios and so make the variety at home. Why would you spend $1.50 on a product that you can make at home for as low as $0.10 per unit?
Through the use of these soda maker machines we will also be making our humane effort toward the well-being of the environment since we will be preventing the usage of plastic pet bottles and aluminum cans. An additional major fact is that with these soda maker machines, we can elect to make as much soda as we need; not more, not less. We wouldn't have to buy the custom 500 ml or 200 ml bottle and then deal with the eventful wastage of the fizz if we leave the bottle open unawares.
To be honest, the best thing in the world is a seltzer machine. When I bought my first soda water maker I made a step forward to a happier ad healthier life!
