A lot of the times when you are in a bar or a club and you look around, you can see countless scenarios where guys are approaching women in a way that basically seems cheesy and usually they get shot down or passed over really quickly. If you want to be able to confidently approach a woman and not come off that way, then keep reading. The way that you approach a woman, especially in a club or bar setting will have a huge effect on the results that you are getting.
Here are a few tips on how to approach a woman and not come off being cheesy:
- Don't pull out lines that you heard in a recent movie and try to be serious about it.
If you have a good sense of humor and delivery, you can pull this off as long as it's obvious that you are not serious about it. If she things that you are dead serious about using a line like that and you think that it will get her though, then you are not going to like what happens next. You can pretty much expect that you are going to get a cold shoulder or a brush off. Always remember that a line is just an opening to a conversation, but at the same time, it frames the whole situation. It's not the end all be all of approaching a woman.
- Make sure that your body language tells her that you are confident AND friendly.
Have you ever seen a guy trying to go overboard with the confidence thing and walk around with his chest poked out and looking like a tough guy? They usually don't get all that much female attention and when they do, it's usually from the women with self esteem issues which means a lot of drama down the road. Make sure that when you approach a woman, it seems like natural confidence AND that you are an open and friendly guy. Not only will it be much more effective, but it will attract a whole different kind of woman.
- Once you make the approach, you have to lead her where you want her to go.
Do you want to just have a fun and flirty conversation? Do you want to have more than that happen? It's up to you as the guy to lead the conversation and take it where you want it to go. Don't try and dominate the conversation, just lead her. Do this, and you will be much more likely to get the result that you really want, whatever that may be.
