Life is full of mysteries and challenges. Most of us will say that life is like a move because it portrays different situations in life. It might be thriller, action, musical, comedy, or romantic. Like in the real world, films have various characters and roles. We have are own sets of responsibilities and duties on the roles we portray in the real life. We have obligations as a father, mother, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather, godmother, godfather, brother, sister, employee, client, employers, citizen, and even God’s disciple. Are you doing fine with your responsibilities? How are you going to rate yourself on that?
Well, let’s focus on the roles we have in the family. A family is the basic unit of the society and it composes a father, mother, and children. The father stands as the foundation of the family while mothers serve us light. Parents have the duties to provide the basic needs of their children including food, water, shelter, clothes, and education. Another family role is the sibling. Siblings is a collective term for brothers and sisters. You can also use the word sibling to refer to your brother or sister. Actually, there are different kinds of siblings. According to online encyclopedia Wikipedia, siblings can be regarded as half, full, milk, or stepsiblings. Brothers and sisters who have the same mother and father are called full siblings. If siblings have only one common biological parent then they fall into the half sibling category. When we talk about stepbrothers or stepsisters, those are from the previous relationship of your mother or father’s partner. Meanwhile, milk siblings are those who are breastfed with similar woman other than their mother. Like parents will do, siblings also have duties and obligations. If you are the eldest in the family then expect that will take good care of their little brothers and sisters as a parent will do. And in response, young ones are also expected to respect their older brothers and sisters.
Being a good sibling is not difficult. Be more concern on the status of your little siblings than your own. Love them more than you love yourself. Younger children are said to be the best imitator in the world so becoming a role model will give them inspiration to live life to the fullest. As a role model will do, you must not utter those words that are unpleasant to hear. Also avoid doing inappropriate acts and behaviors. Always attend to the needs of your baby siblings so that they will grow up at the right track. Remember that babies need comfort to avoid crying.
