Are you familiar with the song "In da Club," by Curtis James Jackson III, popularly known by his alter ego 50 cent? The lyrics go something like this:
Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go shawty
It's your birthday
We gon' party like it's yo birthday
We gon' sip Bacardi like it's your birthday
Did you sing that song? Well you should fasten your seat belt because we are going to talk about birthday parties here. Do you like parties and gatherings? Of course everybody loves that. Eating here, drinking there, and singing and dancing all night.
Birthdays are celebrated yearly. Events like this are conducted to celebrate another year of a person’s life. It also signifies how much thankful we are to the Lord for giving us another year of our borrowed lives. Other people fail to make celebrations during their birthday due to financial problems. I guess that is a wrong perception because every one of us can celebrate the day of our birth without spending too much.
Birthday parties are celebrated differently depending on one’s culture and beliefs in life. In fact there some who prefer to stay home during their birthdays because of superstitious beliefs. I really don’t know why there are beliefs like that. Most of us usually love to travel or go to beautiful places whenever it is our birthday. I guess it will be livelier to celebrate a perfect day on unusual places aside from home. For people who grew up within a religious family, they usually go to church, light candles, and offer prayers to their Creator on the additional year of their lives. There are also countries that have the culture of having the so-called 18-roses dance. That dance is observed when a young lady reaches the legal age of 18.
Actually there are lots of ways on how to make your birthdays unique with less expenditure. A perfect strategy on how to do that is through the use of scrapbooking supplies. With those supplies you can create creative streamers about your birthday. To make it artistic you can post pictures when you are still young until the present. It will be great to entertain your visitors. If you like photography then you can exhibit your works also as another means of entertainment before the official party begins. Make use of glitters, neon papers, or glow-in-the-dark objects to make your party hip.
