HTC has been growing impressively thanks to Android OS. HTC took a chance with the G1 and made their presence known.

The HTC Incredible S is similar in design and style & form factor to other HTC Smartphone's which integrate the HTC Desire S & the HTC Wildfire S, & all of these Smartphone have highly impressive integrated capabilities. The Incredible S has a extensive selection of attributes which contain a Super LCD touch display which is four inches in size, & an incredible eight megapixel camera with large definition video recording, a variety of messaging services, built in music player with excellent sound & an easy to use Net experience.

This handset has a large sized touch show which practically fills the complete front part with the casing as well as it supports responsive multi touch controls. This Smartphone measures 12cm by 6.4cm by 1.17cm & it weighs 135.5 grams. The display measures four inches from corner to corner & has a Super LCD capacitive type display, plus the user can view as much as as many as sixteen million colours on this lovely display. A HTC Sense user interface can be enjoyed around the touch display & the Incredible S supports a customisable home show & HTC widgets. An onscreen keypad or keyboard will be displayed on the 4 inch display allowing the user to use touch screen controls to input numeric or alphabetic input. Its casing includes a sophisticated appearance & comes in a stylish black colour. There are touch sensitive keys position below the touch show which allows the user to entry home, a search facility instantly, or to provide the user with a keypad or back option.

HTC have sought to differentiate the Incredible S from its existing range of Android phones by subtle contouring in its style. This is especially noticeable from the rear. Otherwise, there isn't a whole lot here that's new - it fills a gap in the line-up somewhat than bringing anything revolutionary to the table. So perhaps "Incredible" is stretching things slightly.

Its imaging features include an image stabiliser, dual LED flash, touch focus, automatic focus, photo & video geo tagging & colour settings. This digital camera lens also supports greater definition quality video clip capturing at thirty frames per second. Music can be enjoyed for entertainment either via the radio feature with FM tuning & a radio data system support, or via the integrated music player, plus substantial quality sound can be enjoyed via the built in speakers.

Below the display are the now standard touch sensitive shortcuts for home, menu, back and search, found on most other Android powered handsets. The interesting thing about these 4 shortcuts is that the keys are not painted on. When you rotate the Incredible S, the four shortcuts also rotate. Not a significant change but a subtle change that makes the HTC Incredible S stand out just a bit more than its competitors.

There is a built in HTML Net browser full with a touch activated zoom function, providing a clear & up close view of selected Net pages. A Google search & YouTube compatibility makes surfing the Net a fun experience on the Incredible S. Wi-Fi connectivity allows this Smartphone to connect to a hotspot or nearby wireless LAN for a cable free Net connection. There is one.one gigabytes of internal memory & 768 megabytes of RAM, as well as the user can extend the Smartphone's memory further by inserting a MicroSD memory card which is 32 gigabytes in size.

We've just given a speedy overview from the Incredible S here, outlining how it differs from the existing line-up. Read our HTC Desire review and HTC Desire Substantial definition review if you'd like to find out more about what these phones are capable of. We'll just conclude here by saying that the Incredible S would be a great upgrade for any existing Desire owners, with a larger display, improved digital camera and more memory.

Overall the HTC Incredible S ranks in as a solid "Average" smartphone. It's a bit of a let down considering how nicely rounded and nicely received the original Droid Incredible was. When placed side by side collectively using the original, the Incredible S doesn't have too considerably to spout off about. It does have a slightly larger and cleaner show, boasts a newer generation processor and capabilities a front facing camera, but overall it's not a large change.

This Smartphone supports 3G HSDPA & HSUPA which provides big speed network connectivity when the user requires it, as well as the handset works over quad band GSM networks GSM 850, 900, 1800 & 1900. HTC Incredible S Contract
