There are three ways to get more energy while playing CityVille, the first way is by having loads of neighbours and visiting them once a day to do jobs in their city. The main benefits of doing this is that it gives you 1 energy point for each neighbour you visit each day.

The second way is to send energy requests to your neighbours, which can earn you up to 3 energy points, dependent on how generous your neighbours are.

The third way is the special collections you can complete through obtaining various item icons while collecting business revenue, household rent, and harvesting the various crops.

By far the best and easiest collection to fill is the 'Pumpkin Collection' which gives you a nice 3XP points and 3 Energy points, each time you complete the collection.

So as soon as you can afford to build adequate storage space such as 'The Barn', place two or three of these in your city and start planting as many pumpkin crops as your storage capacity allows.

The great thing about crops is, your neighbours will want to either water or harvest these pumpkin crops to gain gold coins or extra goods for their city, so you waste none of your energy harvesting the crops. Plus with your neighbours watering your pumpkin crops, instead of waiting 18 hours for crops to be ready for harvest, this time can be reduced considerably.

Gaining More Bonus Gold Coins In CityVille

When collecting revenue from your businesses which are placed in a business square, it is best to wait until all your businesses have the 'cash bag' icons over them before starting to collect business revenue.

While clicking on businesses that are ready for collection, icons appear for you to click on and collect which in turn fills your bonus bar. Doing this will give you around 700 to 900 extra gold coins from your bonus bar.

But if you wait for all your businesses to have the 'cash bag' icon over them and have a community building that is ready such as the city hall etc, once you have clicked on all of your businesses, click on one of your community buildings, then quickly collect all the icons to fill up your bonus bar. Doing this will give you around 1500 to 2000 extra gold coins from your bonus bar.

Producing More Goods For Business In CityVille

Businesses really are a gold coins supply line for your city, and the production of goods is the supply line for your businesses. So producing and storing as many goods as you can, gives you a massive advantage in terms of gold coins and expansion of your city.

Now the most obvious way to produce goods is to plant and harvest crops, but alas this is not the best way to produce goods, because crops rely heavily on your neighbours watering them to reduce harvesting times with larger goods producing crops.

The second most obvious is the train, but this again is not the best way to obtain goods for your businesses, there is only one train and you must wait 2 or 3 days for a large load of goods.

The real best way to produce goods is by building several piers and ships, then sending them off to Shanghai Shipping every hour, which brings in 38 goods each ship sent there. You can have around 4 or 5 ships to each pier, so say you had 2 piers with 5 ships each and sent them off to Shanghai Shipping, you can obtain 380 goods every hour to supply your businesses with.
