People involved in seeking out collectibles to sell such as collectible dolls, figurines, or sculptures are always looking for methods to help them find what they are looking for. Hunting down collectibles figurines and other items can be a daunting task, especially if the item is in high demand and worth a lot of money. Finding collectible sculptures and other items of value can be the most difficult part of the whole process.
With that said, here are some tips to help make collectible searching easier:
-
Run an ad in the newspaper and on online classified sites stating which type of collectibles figurines you are looking for and state that you will pay top dollar for them.
-
Visit antique stores and ask to look at any of the antiques or collectibles they don't want. Sometimes you can stumble upon good collectible dolls or other items they are ready to donate or throw in the trash.
-
Visit garage sales. You can sometimes get collectibles for next to nothing at garage sales, simply because the seller doesn't know the value of the item and just wants to get rid of it.
-
Put a sign on your car that says "I buy collectible sculptures" or whatever collectible items you buy. This can be a highly effective way to get new collectibles to sell.
-
Ask everyone you know and everyone you encounter if they have collectible dolls (or whatever) or it they know someone who does. You never know who might be able to help you out!
-
Put signs on stoplight and telephone poles that advertise the fact that you want to buy collectible items along with your phone number.
-
Contact local estate sale companies and tell them you pay cash for collectibles figurines or whatever you are looking for. If they have anything related to what you are looking for, they tend to offer good deals on the items that weren't purchased from their estate sales. They want to get rid of the leftover things.
-
Speaking of estate sales, visit estate sales in the area to see if you can find collectibles while they are still having the sale.
There are probably more things you can do to seek out collectibles and antiques, but we will leave the rest to your creativity. Finding collectibles is always an adventure in the making, so be ready for the adventure!
