The Polar FS2C heart rate monitor…what can I say? Too many things actually! This brilliant piece of equipment is a flexible watch designed only for those people who are serious about taking their training to the next level. The features of the Polar FS2C are different from any heart rate monitor available today.

I bought the Polar FS2C a while back after doing much research because I was continuously getting annoyed with my previous heart rate monitors. I've never been more happy with an acquisition in my entire life!

Ok, so enough about my life's story, let me cut to the chase by informing you about why I adore this particular model. Firstly, allow me to explain its features:

Body Measurement Features

The Polar FS2C has some really convenient body measurement features. You are able to measure the maximum and average heart rate of training; it is also able to take your heart rate bpm (beat per minute).

Its HR-based target zones (with visual and audible alarm) help you outline your ideal target zones for a training session. Your heart rate is monitored to help outline the right intensity for you. Its visual and audible alarm will be set off once you run out of preset zones.

A convenient feature comes in the form of the "Polar OwnCode" coded transmission feature. You are able to automatically lock in a code to transmit your heart rate to the training computer. This coding helps prevent interference from other training computers.

The manual target zone feature enables you to manually enter a target zone that you think is suitable for your training. This feature can also be set in beats per minute.

More Convenient Features

Here are some of my personal favorite features of the FS2C:

The "HeartTouch" - this is a button-free operation of the wrist unit. When this feature is turned on during your training, a whole lot of different training data can be accessed without you having to push any buttons. All you have to do is get your training computer close to your transmitter.

More hot features are its 50m water resistance, backlight, date and weekday indicator, and its backlight. The only fault I can think of, at this point in time, is that you have to send it back to the factory/manufacturer when your battery depletes.

Overall, I suppose this heart rate monitor is one of the greatest I have ever owned and it has never caused any frustrations for me the entire time I have used it. If you are wanting to take your training to the next level then the Polar FS2C is definitely worth considering.
