Video conferencing gives such a great unique global communication experience. Conferencing has moved to the web. Its not any longer tied to loads of planning and huge costs. Online conferencing is here and with it, it brings tonnes of features, functions and tools.
Meetings and conferencing has been used for years by businesses for company collaboration and development. The Internet has aided companies over time with cost cutting tools which also bring streamlined and efficient ways of communicating such as email. We also have instant messaging, now followed by conferencing. All of which use the Internet. All of these have proven to help move businesses forward in reducing their budget spend and progress in a timely manor. Time management is just as important as cutting company costs, and in many cases is directly related. Anything which can be done in a timely fashion will inevitably save money.
Since the birth of the internet we have seen many features which help businesses, this includes online conferencing. Online conferencing enables a gathering of required attendees to communicate together in real time. Online conferencing is not new, it has been around for many years now and implement and endorsed by thousands of businesses worldwide. Online conferencing enables live audio, instant messaging, and visual tools which have been used for many years to help move businesses forward.
Next we saw the birth of online video streaming. Technology moves so fast and video is no exception. At first it came with its own set of restriction and problems, namely download and streaming related. Lag was a big issue but soon ironed out. The potential was soon realised amongst the conference providers industry. Implementing the use of video into their conference software could really increase the power and experience with their product.
Now we have a refined user experience with online video conferencing. This is true global communication at its finest. Streamed directly from a high speed server, most providers can supply the user with lag free full way video chat with multiple users simultaneously engaging.
At first this was very expensive to the user with costs being very high. In fact in the early days of online video conferencing I would say that due to it being new and most models in beta with problems it was not really worth the money. Now, like anything it has dramatically dropped in price due to competition with the ever growing numbers of conference software providers. In fact it is now so competitive that you can get smaller free video conferencing packages which cater for 2 to 4 people. These are great considering they are free, but really are not worth anything to a business.
If you have not yet moved onto the video conferencing scene, then I strongly suggest you do. Thousands are flocking to it daily and Im sure it wont be long before you are invited to one of these online meetings for something. Online video conferencing is currently the most advanced form of communication we have, and the tools and functions you get with these packages give you a truly engaging global communication experience.
OnlineVideo conferencing is a great cost cutting business tool. I use, totally and endorse GVO Conference.
