The Sony PSP is one of the more popular of all handheld gaming systems. Listed below are the top 10 PSP multi-player games.
-
Age of Zombies - Unlike some shooter games, Age of Zombies has slick visuals and a great sense of humor. You control your character, Barry Steakfries as he battles a never-ending steam of zombies.
-
Cubixx - This game poses quite the challenge even for the most experienced gamer. It is similar to the old game Qix, only played on the outside of a cube. You cut away segment on the face of the cube while avoiding your cube enemies and your own comet like tail.
-
ModNation Racers - ModNation Racers is similar to Mario Kart. However, unlike its Nintendo foe, you can create, play, and share new tracks with your friends. This keeps the game from getting repetitive and everyone memorizing the tracks.
-
echoshift - This is a sequel to echochrome, another one of Sony's more popular games. The game has numerous mind bending spatial puzzles to solve. The level of difficulty is more difficult in this game, however. There are more devious devices to deal with.
-
Vector TD - This is a tower defense game. Unlike other flat tower defense games, you can customize the firing parameters of your towers.
-
Rocket Racing - Rocket Racing is a neat spin on a typical racing game. As the name implies, you do not drive your car. Rather, you must maneuver the car using rock thrusts to change direction.
-
Alien Zombie Death - On the surface, this game is simply a frantic blaster. However, when you look closely, each of your enemies has a different way of fighting you. Therefore, you must adapt your gaming strategy at every turn.
-
Half-Minute Hero - This is one of the few role playing games for the handheld platform. Instead of the lengthy quests found in typical RPG's, Half-Minute Hero makes its quests just a mere 30 seconds of frantic questing.
-
Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days - Warning! This game is very addicting. It's another role playing game that is full of strategy and allows you to customize your character with ease. The storyline is full of humor and even quite silly at times.
-
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - This is one of the best console style games found on any handheld. You are a one-eyed soldier, Snake, who must fight his way through many adventures and enemies.
