One of the most exciting cities in the United States and even the world is definitely New York City. A city filled with hotels, attractions, parks and history. The big apple is sure to have something for everyone. It is home of the Central Park Zoo, Time Square, the Natural History Museum, and many other fun places to visit, NYC is a must for sight seers and tourists.
A large portion of the tourists that make their way to New York are so busy that they often neglect some of the best sites. The city of New York plans on spending billions of dollars on new parks, staying accommodations, and transportation that will cause more development and, of course, more recreational activities. Stated simply, this means that tourism will only gain by this renovation. Written here are some fun things to do and see during your stay in the exciting city of New York. Take some time in New York with your family and friends to make memories that will never fade.
A great place to start off your trip is by visiting one of the most famous buildings in the world - The Empire State Building. Atop the skyscraper are some of the most breathtaking views that are sure to make a mark in your mind.
While planning your visit to the Empire State Building, use your time wisely. To make things less stressful, make sure to take printed out versions of your tickets, which will save you from standing in long lines. Another helpful idea is to purchase an express ticket which will bump you to the front of the line and get you through security faster. If money is not an issue, you might want to consider paying a little more and acquiring a ticket to the 102nd floor observation level. It is generally less trafficked and will still offer the same views of the city.
If you miss out on the Statue of Liberty, then you can hardly say you visited New York City as it is one of the most widely known monuments in the whole world. To get to the monument, you must ride a ferry. This, by itself, is a fun part of going to the Statue of Liberty. The ferry ride offers a break from the hectic atmosphere of the city which can become overwhelming to some.
Another way to escape the quick paced environment is by going to Central Park. Central Park offers a relaxing and fun time that can be filled with a picnic or just taking a stroll to see the varying scenery in the one-of-a-kind park. Interestingly enough, Central Park is at the heart of the city.
If New York City is one of the places you hope to visit with your family or friends, make sure to be ready for a trip you will never forget. If you plan it out and make a point of seeing some of the best attractions, your trip will be an unforgettable success.
