Are you a big video game lover? If so, you understand the frustrations that you may feel when you realize that your Xbox 360 is no longer working. Not only have you spent a lot of money on the system itself, but you've also purchase a lot of accessories, games and other valuable equipment to help enhance your gaming experience. With so many equipment failures, it can be stressful to worry about how your Xbox will be fixed. One of the most popular and dreadful problems that you may experience is the Red Ring of Death. This symbolizes extreme damage to your system's hard drive. Luckily, there are ways to fix your Xbox 360 from the comfort of your own home. If you plan to attempt fixing your Xbox, you will want to see if the warranty is still intact. Making fixes to your system may violate the terms of your warranty. If you don't have a warranty intact, there is nothing to worry about.
There are a few common problems that are encountered by most of the active users. The red ring of death is one such problem that has troubled more than 55% of Xbox 360 users. The other popular gaming console the Playstation 3 is also not clean of such issues. Its users have always deal with a common problem called as "Blue Sphere of Death". Fixing an Xbox 360 should not be any difficult and all you need is a little knowledge or guidance in the process. Sending an Xbox 360 to the repair station may not be recommended because it may not be worth paying a few dollars for just a small fault. More than 90% of the errors encountered with the successful working of these machines have been resolved by their respective owners. Fixing an Xbox 360 does not need you to be a rocket scientist and all can be done with the help of a few simple tools.
The statistics about fixing an Xbox 360 often times support doing it yourself rather than sending the machine in for a repair or replacement. Approximately six percent of all of these Microsoft platforms with the Red Ring fatal error cannot be fixed under any circumstance, but this means the vast majority can be put back to good use with just a few minutes of tinkering. You can find the tools needed for fixing an Xbox 360 at any local Radio Shack: a simple screwdriver is required to take off the protective cap, a clamp to keep pressure on a region, and perhaps an air sprayer may be needed to clean the hard drive. Do not attempt fixing an Xbox 360 without the proper tools or with tools that are too small or large to handle the hardware.
Opening up the machine is the first step in fixing an Xbox 360. The large base plate must be removed in order to handle the problems of the hardware. Use the small hole at the base of the machine, pull out, and set it aside. If you need to take out the bottom or top plates, use the six holes at each side and release each clip, with gentle pressure. Fixing an Xbox 360 is only capable when you hear the clicking sound that means each plate is free from the clips. If your issue with fixing an Xbox 360 is simpler, such as removing a stuck game disc, it is necessary to remove the face plate but do not take any other parts of the machine apart from the base. For a disc, merely use a paperclip or small object to hit the manual release. There are two large holes by the disc reader: depending on which DVD player is in, you need to hit one of the buttons in these holes. Do not try fixing an Xbox 360 disc by jabbing, but instead gently poke into the button until you can feel a small amount of pressure moving back. For more info go to: www.Fixingaxbox360.com.
